From brief to finished film.

How we told one man’s lung cancer story with warmth and hope.

01 · The brief

Change how people see lung cancer

The Foundation wanted a film that challenged common misconceptions about lung cancer and its symptoms, told by someone living with it.

03 · The outcome

A hopeful, myth-busting story

A 2 min 31 sec film that moves from the shock of diagnosis to a full life during treatment, ending with a call to find out more. Shared across online, digital and social channels.

02 · Our approach

A sit-down interview and a day in the park

We interviewed Michael in a warm, simple setting and followed him around his local park, by the lake and along the paths he now walks, with aerial shots to open up his world.
