Octopus Energy was bringing wholesale electricity prices to most homes in Texas for the first time. Real-time prices that update every five minutes are a hard idea to explain in a sentence, so they needed a film that made the plan, and the savings, feel simple.

02 · Our approachBold animation in Octopus's own colours
We built the film in Octopus's dark purple and pink palette and gave each idea a single visual: power lines racing between fixed and wholesale prices, a map of Texas with the price per kilowatt hour, a globe ringed with wind and solar, and a cut-away smart home. A friendly voiceover keeps it light.
