From brief to finished film.

How we showed patients a new way to diagnose lung cancer.

01 · The brief

Explain a new diagnostic technology

The Foundation wanted patients to understand robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, what it means for diagnosis, and the questions to ask their care team.

03 · The outcome

Complex technology made clear

A 3 min 52 sec film that takes patients from a worrying scan result to a clear explanation of the test. Shared across online, digital and social channels.

02 · Our approach

Show the technology, not just describe it

We filmed the surgeon with the bronchoscopy system, a model of the airways and the live camera and navigation screens, so viewers can see exactly how the device reaches deep into the lung.
