How we celebrated the people who look after special places.

01 · The brief

Show who makes it all happen

The National Trust wanted to celebrate the people behind its houses, gardens and countryside, and encourage more people to join, donate, visit and volunteer.

03 · The outcome

A montage and four portraits

A 48-second montage film that ends with a clear call to join, donate, visit and volunteer, plus four short portrait films. Shared across online, digital and social channels.

02 · Our approach

A day in the life, beautifully shot

We spent time with staff and volunteers across a property and its estate, from the shop and the beehives to guided tours and the ranger’s Land Rover at dawn, and interviewed them about why they do it.
